Mexican Oasis Buena Vida Clarendon Debuts a New Unlimited Fiesta Experience, October 21

Ivan Iricanin, founder and CEO of Street Guys Hospitality, is pleased to announce the introduction of an unlimited dining experience at his newest venture, Buena Vida Clarendon, located at 2900 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Virginia 22201. The Buena Vida Fiesta Experience will debut Monday, October 21 and will be available in addition to the restaurant's popular a la carte dinner menu. Priced at $35 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat selection of Cold Starters, Hot Starters, Soups, Salads, Traditional Plates, Vegetables, Items from the Grill and a Taste of Mexico City created by Concept Chef Gerardo Vazquez Lugo. The Buena Vida Fiesta Experience must be enjoyed by the entire table.

For dinner, guests can enjoy unlimited small plates from Buena Vidaอs featured dinner menu, which includes over 40 dishes to share and taste. One can begin their meal with a selection of Soup and Salad options with standout menu items to include the Chicken Tortilla Soup with chicken broth, roasted tomatoes, garlic, onions, chipotle morita and avocado; Tomato Corn Salad with heirloom cherry tomatoes, fire roasted tomato and citrus dressing, as well as Beet Salad with pomegranate and habanero molasses, shaved pickled yellow beets and queso fresco. Guests can also dine on a selection of Cold & Hot Starters such as the Fried Shrimp, Gulf of Mexico shrimp breaded in amaranth grains and agave habanero aioli; Dry Soup with vermicelli in ancho, guajillo and chipotle chilies, cheese, avocado and cilantro; Chorizo Croquettes with Mexican chorizo, cilantro, white wine vinegar and tomato marmalade; Tuna Ceviche with bluefin tuna, chia seeds, pineapple, cucumber, lime juice and guajillo oil; Beef Tartar with avocado, chipotle aioli and red radish, as well as Guacamole Fruta with avocado, lime juice, cilantro, basil, pickled green mangos and goat cheese.



A selection of Traditional Plates, Vegetables and Items from the Grill will also be available and include the Brussels Sprout Quesadilla with crispy chihuahua cheese and toasted chili salsa; Shrimp & Crab Enchilada; Pork Carnitas with slow cooked pork and pickled onions; Grilled Eggplant with tahini-eggplant puree, house pickled vegetables and guajillo chili oil; Carrot Tinga with julienne carrots lightly poached in traditional tinga sauce; Cauliflower with coated in black recado and mole pipian; Pork Al Pastor with Berkshire pork neck, annatto seeds and roasted pineapples as well as Calamari with Mexican flavored chimichurri sauce. One can also enjoy a Taste of Mexico with items such as Chile Nogada, poblano chili stuffed with ground beef, raisins, apricots, ancho chile dressing, classic walnut cream sauce and pomegranate seeds; Ossobuco, slow cooked chili spice rubbed short ribs in a herbaceous tomatillo based broth; Lamb Birria, guajillo paste rubbed lamb shoulder slowly cooked for six hours and covered in avocado and banana leaf as well as Shrimp Isleño, butter-sautéed shrimp with mojo isleño, sweet potato pure, plantains and watercress salad. Dishes will also be available a la carte with prices ranging from $7 to $15 each.


For the perfect pairing, guests can select from one of Buena Vida Clarendonอs signature cocktails priced from $7 to $13 each. Standouts include the La Reforma, silver tequila, Mexican vermouth, mole, bitters and lemon; Mr. Fancy, mezcal reposado, sweet vermouth, orange liquor, maraschino cherry and lemon essence; Oaxaca Nights, mezcal, pineapple, lime, hibiscus syrup and fresh cilantro as well as the La Mexicana, Oaxacan rum, soursop puree, lemon, agave nectar and pomegranate seeds. Buena Vida also showcases a highly approachable list of wines from Mexico. 17 wines are available by the bottle and by the glass, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per bottle and from $8 to $13 by the glass.

Buena Vida Clarendon is located at 2900 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Virginia 22201, just two blocks from the Clarendon Metro, accessible on the Orange and Silver lines.
