High Street Café, an American brassiere with a Latin twist, located in the heart of Georgetown at 1303 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, will celebrate The Georgetown Garden Club of Washington, D.C.’s annual garden tour with a variety of specials available exclusively for the month of May, to honor this annual event. Beverage Director Carl Townsend is creating spring libations to include the Lavender Margarita with Rooster Rojo tequila, St. Elder elderflower liqueur, lime, Butterfly Pea Flower syrup, lavender bitters, lavender and black pepper salt and lime, garnished with an edible flower garnish, and the Pom Y Rosa with Absolut Hibiskus, PAMA pomegranate liqueur, lemon, white wine syrup, house-made grenadine, cava and rose water spritz, garnished with an edible flower. Cocktails are priced at $12 each. Additionally, diners can savor a seasonal From the Garden spring salad, price at $12 and Chocolate “Flowerless” Cake, priced at $8, both created by Executive Chef Gerard.
WHEN: Specials will be available for the month of May, with the Georgetown Garden Tour taking place on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Lunch is served Monday through Friday, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Dinner is served Monday through Thursday, from 5 PM to 10 PM; Friday and Saturday, from 5 PM to 11 PM, and brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, from 11 AM to 3 PM. The bar is open until 12 AM.
