Beaujolais Nouveau at Bastille

From our friends at Bastille Restaurant & Wine Bar...

Every third Thursday in November. It’s become a tradition - the uncorking of this year’s vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau. This Gamay goodie is a wine still ‘in diapers,’ but has become a favorite each holiday season.

From Thursday, November 16th Christophe and Michelle Poteaux, chef/owners of Bastille in Old Town pay tribute to 2017 Beaujolais Nouveau offering Beaujolais Nouveau Villages, Manoir du Carra; by the glass ($9) and bottle ($32) while supplies last. This vintage is a perfect pairing with Bastille’s fabulous items currently on the fall menu such as appetizers like: Soupe à l’oignon; Salade d’endives & Champignons and Betteraves, Potiron, Chèvre and entrees such as Coq au vin; Filet de Saumon and Canard à la grenadine.

Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered. The restaurant is located in The Asher at 606 N. Fayette Street in Alexandria, Virginia, just two blocks from the Braddock Metro.
