Bastille Celebrates Summer with a Neighborhood Patio Party
What better way to celebrate the upcoming summer vacation and Sunday Funday than a party? On Sunday, June 11th, Bastille will have a Neighborhood Patio Party, highlighting Bastille's patio, located in the courtyard of the Asher building from 3-6 PM.
Guests are invited to bring the entire family for an afternoon of face painting, balloon art, corn hole games, raffles with prizes and more. Lawn chairs for courtyard seating are welcome. Tickets for food and beverages will be available for purchase the day of the event. Ticket prices are $1 per ticket. Tickets will not be pre-sold.
Chef/owners Christophe and Michelle Poteaux will be grill up goodies like Chorizo sliders; Kefta chicken skewers; smoked duck sausage; hot dogs; Merguez sandwiches; jumbo shrimp and veggie kabobs. Sides include Quinoa Tabbouleh; potato salad; duck fat popcorn; mint & melon and assorted cookies. Soft drinks, beer, wine and cocktails will also be available. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a Bastille souvenir cup.
Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered. The restaurant is located in The Asher at 606 N. Fayette Street in Alexandria, Virginia, just two blocks from the Braddock Metro.
