The Harry Potter Film Concert Series Comes to Strathmore on August 5th!

BSO to Present Live Accompaniment to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Audiences will experience a symphony orchestra performing music to the entire film from one of the most beloved film franchises in history

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra today announced an addition to its summer schedule, three performances only featuring the orchestra providing live accompaniment to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Warner Brothers Pictures’ adaptation of the first in the best-selling series of Harry Potter books, and one of the most popular movies of all time. The concert will be performed on August 5 at The Music Center at Strathmore.

The concert will feature a live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a giant screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams’ unforgettable score.
