Fox Boys Hospitality Group to Participate in Oyster Recovery Program

Oyster Recovery Partnership

From our friends at Fox Boys Hospitality Group...

Today, Fox Boys Hospitality Group, based in Annapolis, Maryland, announced a yearlong partnership with Old Line Fish Company, a Community Supported Fishery being launched by the Oyster Recovery Partnership. The Community Supported Fishery initiative will provide local, fresh, and responsibly harvested Maryland seafood, with distribution initially in Annapolis.

Numerous times throughout the year, Old Line Fish Company will provide seafood to the restaurants in Fox Boys Hospitality Group, Fox’s Den, Vida Taco Bar and Level, to be filleted, packaged and refrigerated. The seafood will then be picked up by Old Line Fish Company and distributed. Fox Boys Hospitality Group will also provide recipes and seafood handling instructions to the residents purchasing the seafood.

“Providing local, fresh and sustainable foods to our customers is our highest priority,” said Fox Boys Hospitality Group Executive Chef Josh Brown. “By partnering with Old Line Fish Company and the Oyster Recovery Partnership, we are able to provide fresh and quality seafood to the locals of Annapolis.”

“The Old Line Fish Company was formed to support Maryland’s iconic seafood industry” said Stephan Abel, Executive Director of the Oyster Recovery Partnership. “This CSF underscores the vital role that consumers and local businesses like the Fox Boys Hospitality Group can play in preserving the Chesapeake Bay and its heritage.”

The partnership between Old Line Fish Company and Fox Boys Hospitality group runs through April of 2017.
