Sunday Easter Brunch at the Grill Room, April 20th Brings a Twist to Traditional Family-Style Dining

On April 20th, the Grill Room at Capella Washington, D.C., Georgetown will offer a traditional Easter Brunch but with a twist. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of Easter Brunch items served at the table, family-style. This family friendly format assures no waiting in brunch lines and more opportunity for togetherness and memory making. Our brunch concept goes beyond offering a delicious meal, it creates an environment that fosters the time-honored celebration of family during one of America’s most beloved holiday celebrations. This is a tradition that is sure to become a fixture in the capital city for years to come. The Easter Brunch is priced at $95 per person and $30 for children (up to 12 years old). To begin the meal, starters will arrive on the tables family style and will include Caramelized Onion and Alpine Cheese Quiche served with Tomatillo Salad, Lemon Vincotto, Prosciutto and Pine nuts; Chopped Lobster Salad; Seasonal Greens & Spring Vegetables with Pink Grapefruit Dressing; Orange & Rye Whiskey Cured Salmon and a Mizuna Leaf, Pickled Sweet Potato & Cranberries Vegetable “Escalibada.”

During that time the food trolleys will be passing by featuring a diverse array of choices such as succulent Rotisserie Chicken (Honey Mustard Brined in an Alder Wood Smoked Salt Rub Rye Whiskey Sauce & Vegetable Ragout), Grilled Red Snapper Cooked in Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Crispy Thyme Quinoa, and fresh Oysters accompanied by garden vegetables.

A distinctive signature item on the trolley is the Yogurt and Lemon Marinated Leg of Lamb, served on a plate of Spring Vegetable Couscous, showcasing The Grill Room’s remarkable ability to deliver some of the city’s best flavorful and individual cuts of meat.

To further enhance the experience, there will be a Dessert Trolley featuring The Grill Room’s popular Baked Alaska as well as seasonal desserts.
