With pesky electrical issues finally behind them, Smashburger is poised to open their first Washington, DC location at 1739 Connecticut Avenue (former home to Lucky Brand Jeans.) The date? September 11th, followed two weeks later by the grand opening of their downtown Bethesda digs at the corner of Norfolk and Cordell Avenues.
The Dupont Circle hub will seat 47, and serve Smashburger's full mouth-watering menu (click here.) Check back soon, to read our take on Haystack Onions, Smashfries and at least a couple of different burgers (Buffalo Chicken, here I come!) Call it a hunch (or perhaps my overall burger zealousness) but I'm predicting big things from the Denver-based burger haven.
