The Washington Harbour Ice Rink celebrated its grand opening with the first ever Winter on the Water. The free event, put on by the Washington Harbour showed off the new 12,000 square foot rink (largest outdoor skating venue in D.C.) in addition to choral singers, fancy lighting effects, ice skating performances, strolling entertainers and a St. Lucia parade, immediately following the end of the Swedish Christmas Bazaar at the House of Sweden. 94.7 Fresh FM's Tommy McFly was on hand to emcee the festivities.
The Ice Rink is open daily (even Christmas and New Year's Day!) now through March. Click here for more information.
