Renowned for its exceptional marbling, rich flavor, and tenderness, it is considered one of the top Wagyu brands. Iwate Gyu is not only celebrated domestically but is also gaining recognition internationally as a symbol of Japanese culinary excellence. About Farm Nakamura:
Located in the Iwate Prefecture, Farm Nakamura is proudly managed by just three family members —Tetsuo Nakamura, Emiko Nakamura, and their son Takuma Nakamura. Every step of the Wagyu journey—from feed production to breeding and fattening—is handled entirely in-house, proving that a small, self-reliant team can achieve exceptional results. At Farm Nakamura, passion, care, and tradition come together to create Wagyu of unparalleled quality. Farm Nakamura’s roots stretch back to a family tradition of agriculture and craftsmanship, blending dairy farming, rice cultivation, and a construction business. Driven by their passion, the family shifted focus to Wagyu in the early 1990s, carefully developing a fully integrated system that nurtures cattle from birth to table. Every barn and facility bears the personal touch of Tetsuo, designed and built with both the cattle’s comfort and operational efficiency in mind. All operations continue to be managed exclusively by the family, maintaining hands-on care and exceptional quality.
