I used to own a stationery store (Pen to Paper, RIP) at 4000 Wisconsin Avenue (before City Ridge and Upton Place) so it's still a little strange to announce cool openings literally a few feet from where I used to operate. Envy aside, it's exciting to mention that Paris Baguette is coming soon, adding yet another layer to a suddenly delicious and thriving new DC hotspot. Paris Baguette recently (August 8th) opened a location in downtown Bethesda at 4924 St. Elmo Avenue, and there are plenty more to follow (including in Clarendon and even more in DC.) The 4000 Wisconsin space should open in late spring or early summer '26.
