I can’t shake the feeling that @SmashingMovie didn’t “leave it all in the ring.” It’s not a bad movie per se, but it lacks the grit & toughness I expected. In its place, lots of melodrama (news flash, couples fight) and unrivaled politeness. @TheRock oozes charm, but who knew he was this much of a softie? He’s still very believable, and certainly looks the part, but this isn’t his Mickey Rourke moment. Slower than it should be, it’s hard to go any higher than a B-.
