IMDb Plot: A college professor finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light. Directed by Luca Guadagnino.
After the Hunt opens with the world’s most boring “party” before dragging us along for a #MeToo-filled 2-hour bore-a-thon, soaked in cancel culture, cassoulet and a cacophonous soundtrack that even Woody Allen would find (at the very least) irksome. Hats 🎩 off to Julia Roberts (as usual) but even she’s not enough to save this sinking ship.
Grade: F (Oh, the horror (of that awful music.))
