They keep conjuring up sequels, don’t they? @TheConjuring: Last Rites is film #4 (or #9 if you count the rest of its universe.) I’ve seen ‘em all, and I still can’t explain its timeline or what’s actually happening. That said, I usually make it to the end, although 135 minutes is way too long for this genre (yet alone yours truly.) Vera Farmiga & Patrick Wilson’s hiatus gets cut short again, but as usual, they deliver the goods when called upon. Perhaps this is cinematic comfort food? If so, may as well save me a seat at the table (minus the vomiting.)
