Paul Walter Hauser's Michael Larson professes "Luck is just a good excuse to do nothin', and then hope that an opportunity comes a knocking." Larson hopes (and knocks) aplenty in #TheLuckiestManInAmerica, an 80s game show drama that's one part Quiz Show, another part September 5. Trouble is, this isn't a hostage situation, no matter how big the jackpot gets. The result is a reasonably entertaining movie with familiar faces but few substantial consequences. Hauser's good. Ditto for Shamier Anderson & David Strathairn.
