GW Men's Basketball Releases Atlantic 10 Schedule
Anchored with four weekend home games and five total games on national television, the Atlantic 10 on Tuesday announced the 2024-25 conference schedule for the George Washington men's basketball team. The full schedule is available below.
GW will open A-10 play with a New Year's Eve tilt at Richmond before returning to the Smith Center for the conference home opener on Saturday, Jan. 4 vs. Dayton, a game that will be nationally televised on USA Network at 12 p.m.
The Buff & Blue will also welcome Duquesne (Wednesday, Jan. 15), Saint Louis (Saturday, Jan. 25) and Richmond (Wednesday, Jan. 29) to D.C. in the season's first month and will make road trips to Rhode Island (Wednesday, Jan. 8), George Mason (Saturday, Jan. 18) and Massachusetts (Wednesday, Jan. 22). The Revolutionary Rivalry clash with Mason will be a 12:30 p.m. tip on USA Network.
February brings three national television contests in the first two weeks with matchups at La Salle (Saturday, Feb. 1) and St. Bonaventure (Sunday, Feb. 9) both airing on USA Network. GW will host VCU on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. in the program's first game to air on Peacock.
GW will also welcome George Mason (Wednesday, Feb. 5), Saint Joseph's (Feb. 19) and Massachusetts (Saturday, Feb. 22) in February before wrapping up the home schedule with La Salle on Saturday, March 1.
The Buff & Blue will visit Davidson (Saturday, Feb. 15), Loyola Chicago (Wednesday, Feb. 26) and finish the season at Fordham (Wednesday, March 5).
The 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship is back in the nation's capital as Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. will host the event for the first time since 2022. The Championship will return to a five-day format, with opening round action on Wednesday, March 12 continuing through the championship game on Sunday, March 16.
