Early Fall Delights at Bastille

On Wednesday, October 24th at 6:30 PM, Chef/owners Christophe & Michelle Poteaux of Bastille offer a five-course $85 prix fixe menu pairing some of the most popular varietals of France.

The meal begins with L’Amuse Bouche with Chateau Trians, Provence Rose (60% Grenache/30% Cinsault/10% Syrah) followed by La Plancha de crevettes (jumbo shrimp, eggplant, tomato) with Brézène, Cote du Rhone, Domaine Lombard 2017 (80% Marsanne/15% Roussanne/5% Viognier); Les Gnocchi aux Champignons (Forrest mushroom, potato gnocchi, lardons, cipoline, tomato, carrots) with Haute Cotes de Beaunes, La Combotte 2015 (100% Pinot Noir); Le Navarin d’Agneau (braised lamb shoulder in a rich red wine sauce with roasted root vegetables, paired with Chateauneuf du Pape, Château Gigognan 2014 (60% Grenache/ 30% Syrah/ 10% Mourvedre); Le Fromage (Brillat Savarin, apple, hazelnut) with Bulliat Cremant NV (100% Chardonnay) and for dessert, Michelle’s sweet treats - L’assiette de Mignardises.

Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered.
