Safeway Announces Expanded Loyalty Program

From our friends at Safeway...

Just for U Offers More Deals Plus Grocery and Gas Rewards

Today, Safeway’s Eastern Division introduced their expanded loyalty program, just for U. Just for U now offers customers even more deals and rewards for shopping at Safeway.

Just for U offers digital coupons, gives customers personalized deals on the items that they buy most, and allows customers to shop and earn rewards that can be redeemed either at the gas pump or for free groceries.

“We are really excited to offer Safeway customers an expanded digital platform that helps them save even more and earn valuable rewards for everyday shopping,” said Tom Lofland, President of Safeway’s Eastern Division. “Safeway customers will also now be able to receive special deals on items they buy on a weekly basis, with deals that are personalized to them.”

Through just for U, customers can earn discounts and rewards with every purchase they make simply by shopping at Safeway stores and entering their phone number at checkout. Every dollar spent on qualifying grocery or pharmacy items helps earn rewards that can be redeemed for free or discounted groceries, or discounts on gas at participating Sunoco fuel stations.

Customers can access just for U by downloading the app or signing up online at www.safeway.com. Customers who sign into their existing account on their phones will be prompted to download the new update for just for U.
