Pennsylvania 6 DC Revitalizes Menu with Fun, Approachable Options
American brasserie unveils new happy hour, lunch, and dinner menus
Pennsylvania 6 DC (1350 Eye Street, NW) is pleased to announce the unveiling of new happy hour, lunch, and dinner menus reflecting modern additions and innovative flavor combinations sure to keep guests coming back.
Lunch and dinner crowds will be impressed with the wide array of menu offerings available. New shareable appetizers include beet gazpacho, mussels, and smoked trout puree with crispy bacon, pickled onions and cherry wood. Salad additions include halibut & farro salad with sundried tomatoes and saffron-horseradish cream, marinated chicken salad with peppers, onions, cucumbers, basil, and feta, topped with a champagne vinaigrette, and arctic char salad with orange marmalade dressing, citrus supreme, and Grana Padano, atop a bed of arugula and kale.
New entrée ‘plate’ offerings include grilled swordfish steak with roasted nut romesco, rainbow chard, and tarragon lime butter, as well as wild Atlantic salmon with caramelized carrots, pea puree, and bagel rub. Lunch diners have three new sandwich options like the Cubano, pulled roasted chicken with sautéed mushrooms, black kale, aged white cheddar, and bacon, and veggie sandwich with yellow squash, red onion, mushroom, red pepper, pesto aioli, and mozzarella, all of which are included in Penn 6’s weekday $10 Express Lunch deal of a half sandwich, salad combo. Guests can enjoy six new side offerings like roasted garlic mashed potatoes, rosemary creamed corn, ratatouille, and wild mushrooms with chili oil. Regulars will find familiarity in favorites such as the yellowfin tuna tartare, fresh ricotta, and crab croquettes.
Happy hour goers need to look no further than Penn 6’s ‘Oyster Happy Hour’, serving $1 Chesapeake Bay oysters and $5 oyster shooters, Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM in the bar area. Other happy hour offerings include smoked paprika hummus, beef sliders, creamy crab dip, and the toastie trio, three crostinis with fun toppings like smashed avocado & sea salt, bruschetta with basil, and ricotta & fig jam. Drink specials include premium well liquor mixed drinks, rotating draft beers, and house wines for $5.
