Last night over 2,600 foodies found themselves in culinary bliss at
Dine-N-Dash 2017 and helped us to raise
$543,000 for
World Central Kitchen’s Smart Solutions to Hunger and Poverty! The night kicked off with an exclusive
MGM National Harbor pre-reception for VIP guests, featuring
FISH by José Andres,
Marcus,
Felt, and the
Voltaggio Brothers Steakhouse. From there, guests dined their way through over 30 restaurants in Penn Quarter and 14th Street, and hung out with our special guests
José Andrés,
Andrew Zimmern, and
Ted Allen.
The night culminated in an exclusive VIP afterparty at
Studio Theatre, where guests enjoyed ramen by
Paper Horse, desserts by
Momofuku Milk Bar and other top DC sweet spots, cocktails by
Kyirisan, and the debut of World Central Kitchen’s Smart Roast coffee.
Thanks to the support of our guests and generous sponsors, World Central Kitchen raised almost
double the amount raised last year. These proceeds will go directly towards empowering communities and strengthening economies around the world.
