Uptown Alley announced today that it will thank area educators for a great year during Teacher Appreciation Week taking place from Monday, May 1, until Friday, May 5. The venue’s Summer Fun Pass Preview event will take place on Sunday, May 21. Tom Dixon’s “Alive Day” official pre-release party will take place on Sunday, May 28 with free general admission and donations accepted for the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes.
“We offer our sincere thanks to area educators and veterans through our Teacher Appreciation Week and the Tom Dixon benefit concert for the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes,” said A.J. Laban, General Manager at Uptown Alley. “Once the school year comes to a close, families are welcome to ‘beat the heat’ and enjoy our Summer Fun Pass all summer long.”
To thank area educators for their significant contributions, Uptown Alley is recognizing Teacher Appreciation Week from Monday, May 1, until Friday, May 5. Educators with a valid employment identification will receive 50% off bowling and games with 20% off food and soft drinks.
The Summer Fun Pass Preview Event will take place on Sunday, May 21 at Uptown Alley from 1 to 4 PM. Summer Fun Passes (for ages 18 and under) are $10 each and include two games of bowling, shoes and $5 game card for the arcade or game of laser tag (value: 50% off.) Pass members can add an extra game of bowling or laser tag or $5 game card for the arcade for $3 and receive a $2 discount on menu items for kids. The Summer Fun Pass is valid from Monday, May 29, until Friday, September 1 and may be used Monday through Friday between 11 AM and 5 PM.
