Sakerum, the newly opened Latin-Asian restaurant located in the bustling 14th Street corridor at 2204 14th Street, NW, is pleased to announce the debut of its $5 Happy Sake Hour on Monday, April 17th. Happy Sake Hour will be available Monday and Tuesday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, from 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM, Thursday and Friday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, as well as Saturday and Sunday, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. Guests can enjoy house red and white wine, house sake, ‘rail’ cocktails, a rotating beer selection and a variety of specialty small plates, priced at $5 each. Highlights include the Bao Buns, pork belly, gochujang, pickled red cabbage, shiso and hoisin; Elotes, grilled corn on the cob, creamy miso, chili and beet tempura crunch; Grilled Calamari with eel sauce, crispy garlic, scallion and lime; Edamame, choice of spicy or cashew lime; Wings, choice of fried gochujang or grilled soy marinade; Wakasagi Karaage, fried smelt, served with a sweet & spicy aioli, as well as Yakitori, teriyaki glazed chicken skewers, cilantro and sesame. Traditional maki and temaki-style rolls will also be available. Sake Hour is available exclusively at the 15-seat bar/sushi bar and 50-seat second floor enclosed rooftop.
Sakerum is located at 2204 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009, just three blocks from the U Street-Cardozo metro station accessible on the Green and Yellow Lines. The restaurant is open for dinner Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 PM to 1:30 AM; Friday, from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM; Saturday, from 11 AM from 2:30 AM and Sunday, from 11 AM to 1:30 AM. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Sake Hour is served Monday through Friday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
