Rosé Drinkers Rejoice! New Rosé Garden in DC

From our friends at Westend Bistro...

It’s Rosé season, which means that it is time to think and drink pink! Kicking off the summer, The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C. and its award-winning restaurant Westend Bistro will be the hotspot of the season with its new Rosé Garden, launching on Friday, May 5.

While enjoying the sun soaked patio each Friday of the summer from 4:30 - 7:00 PM, guests will be able to quench their thirst and order a glass of their favorite wine or sample a variety with the garden’s Rosé Flight, complete with three different rosé blends to taste and experience. Those looking for a refreshing craft cocktail and the perfect way to start the weekend can enjoy the exclusive ‘Brigitte Bardot’ with Lillet Rosé, Giffard Crème de Pech, grapefruit juice, grapefruit bitters and sparkling rosé or the ‘Riff on Pimms No. 1 Cup’ with Pimms No. 1, sparkling wine, ginger syrup, orange sherbet, fresh lemon juice, and cucumber water.

Specially designed to complement the Rosé Flights and the new signature cocktails, the garden’s culinary offerings include Baked Goat Cheese with caramelized figs and crostini, Chesapeake Bay Oysters with cucumber granite and Ossetra caviar, Glazed Pork Belly with port wine and crispy yuca, and Grilled Watermelon with prosciutto de parma and crumbled feta. Regular Happy Hour favorites from the bar such as Truffle Pomme Frites and Roasted Bone Marrow will also be available upon request in the garden.
