Fresh off the announcement that The Catholic University of America men's basketball team will open the season at the University of Notre Dame, head coach Steve Howes has released the full schedule for the 2016-17 season.

The Cardinals open regular season play in nearby Arlington, Virginia, at the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament on November 19-20. Catholic faces Hamilton on Saturday, before taking on either Kean or Marymount on Sunday.

The non-conference schedule also features games at home against DeSales (12/5) and at St. Vincent (12/7.) The Cards will travel to Wesley (11/27) and Neumann (12/10.) Home contests include Elmira (12/17), Gettysburg (12/18) and Swarthmore (1/3) in addition to the annual holiday tournament.

The CUA-Holiday Inn College Park Classic is set for December 29 and 30. The Cards take on Arcadia on Thursday and face either Stockton or Dickinson on Friday. Catholic won last year's tournament.

The Cardinals home-opener is also its Landmark conference opener. Drew comes to Franny Murray Court inside the DuFour Center on December 3 to tip off men's basketball and league play in DC.

Catholic plays its rematch of the Landmark Championship against Susquehanna on January 25 at home. Other DuFour games include Elizabethtown (1/11), Moravian (1/14), Juniata (1/28), Goucher (2/1) and Scranton (2/11.) Road tilts begin with Juniata (1/7) and continue with Goucher (1/18), Scranton (1/21), Drew (2/4), Susquehanna (2/8), Elizabethtown (2/15) and Moravian (2/18.)

The Landmark Conference Tournament begins with the semifinals on February 22 before the championship game on February 25.
