Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, located in the Rosemount area of Alexandria, Virginia at 401 E. Braddock Road, is pleased to announce the debut of its Family Dinner menu offering beginning on Monday, January 18th. Fans of the newly opened Alexandria eatery can enjoy Lena’s freshly made pastas, salads and hearty Italian dishes, from the comfort of their own home. Perfect for family gatherings, ‘big’ dinners for a large group, or for large Super Bowl parties, this is much more than taking Lena’s ‘to-go’ - each entrée ordered is portioned for two diners, but the menu selections can be easily increased to feed as many guests as needed. All orders include house-made focaccia, as well as a choice of salad and dessert, with prices starting from $18 to $24 (for two.)

Lena's Family Dinners are available any day of the week, for lunch or dinner enjoyment, and pricing is based on the entrée selection (beverages and tax not included) for every two guests in the party. Lena's signature 10-inch and 14-inch pizzas may also be added to any order; regular menu pricing applies. Orders for two to 12 guests may be placed at anytime for same day pick-up, while orders for parties of 13 to 24 guests must be placed at least three hours in advance. Menu highlights include: Mixed Greens Salad with baby greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and garlic red wine vinaigrette; Caesar Salad with romaine, creamy Caesar dressing, roasted garlic focaccia croutons and shaved parmesan; Sausage & Peppers with mild Italian sausage, sautéed onions, sweet peppers and marinara; Chicken Parmigiana, crispy chicken breast with marinara sauce and fresh mozzarella; Meatballs & Spaghetti, house-made all beef meatball with hand-cut spaghetti, marinara sauce and parmesan, Butternut Squash & Ricotta Gnocchi with wild mushroom red wine ragu, browned-butter sage cream and parmesan; Penne with Tomato & Basil, house-made penne pasta with seasonal vegetables and saffron cream, and Lasagna with house-made pasta, bolognese, béchamel and mozzarella. Entrées range in price from $18 to $24.

Meatballs & Spaghetti

Pizza options include: Margherita with mozzarella, crushed San Marzano tomatoes, basil and olive oil; Shrimp Tomato and Artichoke with marinated shrimp, roasted cherry tomatoes, marinated artichokes, roasted garlic and mozzarella; Korean BBQ, Korean BBQ short ribs with gochujang, scallions, mozzarella and pickled vegetables; Grilled Chicken Pesto with cherry tomatoes, spinach, red onions and mozzarella; Diavola with spicy sopressata salami, mozzarella, fried kale and ghost pepper hot honey; Mushroom with roasted garlic cream, wood-roasted wild mushrooms, mozzarella and truffle oil; Sunny Side Up Pizza with apple wood smoked bacon, sliced potatoes, caramelized onions, smoked provolone and a quail egg, and the Prosciutto and Arugula with prosciutto di parma, arugula, fresh mozzarella and parmesan. Pizzas range in price from $10 to $14 for a 10-inch, and from $14 to $22 for a 14-inch pie.

For a decedent finish to dinner, each order will come with a choice of tempting desserts such as Tiramisu with house-made lady fingers, espresso, marsala, mascarpone and cocoa; Bunet, traditional chocolate terrine with amaretti cookies, or the Apple Ricotta Donuts with cinnamon sugar.
