New Sunday Hours at GCDC Grilled Cheese Bar
Plus new weekend menu
GCDC, Washington’s first grilled cheese-centric restaurant and bar, will now be open for Sunday lunch service from 11 AM - 4 PM. This is a great addition to the very limited weekend dining options within walking distance of the National Mall, the White House, and the Renwick Gallery.
To complement these extended hours, GCDC will also be offering a new Weekend Lunch Menu with rotating sandwich specials and seasonal cocktails alongside staple gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. The menu will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM - 4 PM.
Sandwich specials include breakfast items like The White House Kitchen Sink made with cheddar, gruyere, bacon, chorizo, poached egg and pepper jelly on white bread or The Greek made with egg whites, feta, spinach, tomato and rosemary garlic olive oil on wheat.
Cocktails ranging from $6-7 include house-made seasonal flavors of Sangria, Spritzers and Mimosas, plus Bloody Mary’s made with house-infused chili pepper vodka.
