Get ready to earn your beads. Bayou, Washington’s highly-acclaimed New Orleans style restaurant, is gearing up for its Sixth Annual Mardi Gras celebration on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. The celebration begins at 11 AM and will continue late into the night. Chef Rusty Holman and team are looking forward to offering guests an authentic taste of New Orleans’ Mardi Gras in the heart of Washington, DC.

Festivities begin at 11 AM on Fat Tuesday, featuring food and drink specials of New Orleans favorites such as jambalaya, assorted po' boys, hurricanes, and much more. Live music kicks off on the restaurant’s enclosed and heated front patio with the Capitol Hillbillies, performing from 11 AM to 3 PM. From 5 PM to 9 PM, Bayou will offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for $30 per person, featuring a wide assortment of Chef Rusty’s famed Cajun cuisine.
