Arch Campbell's Top 10 Movies of 2015

From our friend Arch Campbell...

Here's what I liked (best) at the movies in 2015.

10. Bridge of Spies: True life spy thriller for grown ups.

9. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl: High school kids come of age.

8. Ex Machina: Sexy, creepy sci-fi.

7. Mr. Holmes: Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes in old age.

6. The Martian: Matt Damon survives when left behind on Mars.

5. Room: Thrilling story of escape and aftermath.

4. Carol: Beautifully recreates the 1950's in a story of emotional longing and connection.

3. Inside Out: Pixar explores a child’s emotions in a most creative story.

2. Spotlight: The Boston Globe investigative team shines a light on a global problem. A great ensemble, representing old school journalism at its best.

1. Brooklyn: Irish immigrant must choose between life and love in America or in her home country. Delightful and satisfying.

Also worth remembering - Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Black Mass, Trainwreck, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Creed, Sicario and Love & Mercy

Editor's Note: Not bad Arch! We had three films in common (five, if you count honorable mentions.) Of course, you also had Carol in your top 10 (#4, no less) so there's always room for improvement. 😊 Can't wait to see what you like in 2016.
