Zeke Emanuel to Kick off Summer Breakfast Series this Saturday, July 25 at Union Market

Healthcare pundit to provide a glimpse into his philosophies on nutrition and wellness

Ezekiel “Zeke” Emanuel, healthcare pundit and eldest of the esteemed Emanuel brothers trio, will run a breakfast series this Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26, and Saturday & Sunday, August 1-2 from 8 AM - 1 PM at Union Market in Nick Stefanelli's new eatery, Masseria (1340 4th Street, NW.)

For the series, Zeke will make his debut as star guest chef, sharing his core beliefs on wholesome living in a nutritious, carefully curated menu catered to health food junkies and political junkies alike. The political scholar and salubrity sage has written thoroughly on healthcare and medical moral dilemmas in his books, Healthcare, Guaranteed, and The Ends of Human Life. Zeke believes that living well is as much a personal issue as it is political: a clean (and affordable) bill of health starts at the breakfast table.

A percentage of the proceeds from the breakfast series will benefit Martha’s Table, DC Central Kitchen and the Good Food Awards. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis by emailing reservations@masseria-dc.com.
