What a difference a day makes. Thousands of hungry festival goers descended upon Pennsylvania Avenue, NW for the final day of the 23rd annual
Safeway National Capital Barbecue Battle; and unlike yesterday, weather
wasn't a factor. If anything, it allowed folks a chance to salvage one of DC's best annual foodie weekends. It's a little late in the game; but if you haven't had a chance to get down there, it doesn't
officially wrap up until 7:30 tonight... Just in time to catch the
Chuck Brown Band and/or the
award ceremony, beginning at 6:30 PM.
