It rained cats and dogs yesterday; but the skies stayed clear for day five of the
Smithsonian Folklife Festival, prompting huge crowds on the grounds of the National Mall. When I say huge, I mean
HUGE... big enough to make taking photographs (at least
good ones) difficult at best. Needless to say, weekdays are a lot better option... if crowds aren't your "thing." The Festival takes a breather (closed today & tomorrow) before resuming Wednesday, through closing day (Sunday, July 5th.)
