The Dignitary Whiskey Bar Debuts The Patio, Featuring Live Music All Summer

Marriott Marquis Washington, DC has opened its first outdoor bar, The Patio at The Dignitary, on the corner of 9th Street NW and Massachusetts Ave. NW in downtown Washington, DC. Featuring live music all summer, The Patio at The Dignitary is the summery sister bar to The Dignitary, Marriott Marquis’ popular whiskey bar.

The Patio’s expansive 40-seat outdoor area offers a variety of high-top, lounge, and couch seating, a sunny whiskey-laden cocktail menu, light small plates, and live music Thursday and Friday evenings. Sure to be a preferred local happy hour watering hole, The Patio is open every evening at 5 PM with after-work specials until 7 PM (open until midnight aglow with soft string lighting). Signature cocktails include the Whiskey Margarita (George Nickel White, Cointreau), Kentucky Devil (bourbon, watermelon, adobo sauce), No. 10 Rickey (DC’s native cocktail with Tanqueray No. 10 gin, club soda, lime juice), Bourbon Pomegranate Sangria, and the Basil Julep. Small plates and light nibbles include sliders, flatbreads, cheese & charcuterie plates, and salads.
