For starters, I don't have celiac disease; so I'm judging these cookie-cracker combos on taste alone. We sampled a generous 4 oz. bag, which held over 20 total chips (four servings of five chips.) Brownie Thins are made with cassava flour and have no corn, rice or soy. They're also non-GMO (non-genetically modified) so no need to worry about unhealthy allergens and toxins.
But how do they taste? In a word, Chocolaty. Credit dutch cocoa and rich chocolate flakes for that; as well as all-natural butter and cane sugar. No trans fats however, plus you get a matching two grams of dietary fiber, which helps with digestion.
Gluten-free products are readily available throughout the DMV; but good-tasting snacks aren't as easy to find. I'm already a big fan of Partners' Olive Oil & Herb Crackers (available in 5 oz. boxes and smaller .75 oz bags) but chocolate adds a note of decadence to its Free for All line. And who couldn't use a little bit of decadence in their lives? Click here to shop online; or visit your nearest Whole Foods.
