Healthy, Edible Cookie Dough by Slender Seven Hits Grocery Stores

From our friends at Union Kitchen...

Slender Seven Introduces Healthy, Eggless Cookie Dough Made with Organic Beans

Slender Seven will launch its first consumer packaged good into the retail market Friday: a Healthy & Eggless Cookie Dough made with organic beans. The cookie dough is all-natural, allergy friendly and low in sugar.

“Consumers should be able to satisfy their sweet tooth without compromising their healthy lifestyle,” explains Nikki Azzara, Founder and CEO of Slender Seven. “The wholesome ingredients in our recipe were purposely selected to provide health benefits, as well as embody our motto: Cook Simply, Eat Healthy & Feel Happy.”

Slender Seven Healthy & Eggless Cookie Dough contains organic, non-GMO (genetically modified organism) ingredients that provide a great source of protein, iron, fiber, antioxidants and healthy fats. It is free of gluten, flour, dairy, soy, peanuts, trans fats and preservatives. The dough will be available in two flavors. The first, Choco-Chick, is the classic chocolate chip cookie flavor made with chickpeas. The second flavor is Choco-Fudge, a double chocolate blend of black beans and natural cocoa powder. The versatile cookie dough can be enjoyed raw or baked into cookies.

Azzara founded Slender Seven in 2013 as a senior at Wake Forest University, in an effort to pursue her passion for health and cooking in conjunction with her marketing and entrepreneurship coursework. The Slender Seven website and app provide healthy recipes using seven ingredients or less. The company manufactures and distributes the cookie dough out of Union Kitchen culinary incubator in Washington, D.C.

Slender Seven Healthy & Eggless Cookie Dough can be purchased at all Yes! Organic Market locations beginning Friday. For more information, visit slenderseven.com.
