Bastille Celebrates Pi Day with... Pies!

Tomorrow is Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi.) Mathematical constants? Who cares? Thankfully, Bastille Restaurant in Olde Towne Alexandria does. The popular French eatery is celebrating Pi Day with individual chicken pot pies. Pastry chef Michelle Poteaux's savory spin consists of flaky pastries filled with chicken, assorted vegetables and gravy. Sounds like a winning formula to me.

Bastille will serve pot pies at brunch this Saturday and Sunday with sautéed potatoes and a petite salad for just $14. Not a fan of pot pies? No problem, check out the rest of Bastille's brunch menu here.

Behind the scenes: Fresh out of the oven!
