The holidays are gone and along with it the guest impositions, the holiday lights, the gifts under the tree... to be replaced with returns of those holiday returns and lamentations of desires not fulfilled. Why so sad? Because that expected holiday bling perhaps did not make it under the tree? No need to wine when there’s wine - the sparkling kind, and along with it, the opportunity to get all that glitters for oneself instead of having to rely on the unreliable gift giver.
On Wednesday, January 14th from 6-9 PM, jewelry designer Tatjana Djordevic brings her collection to Slate Wine Bar + Bistro for a glittering evening of sparkling gems and sparkling wine. Slate owner/sommelier, Danny Lledo has selected a duo of lovely premium bubbles to sample for $10 for the pair, pre, post and during shopping.
Tatjana Djordevic’s designs feature an array of colorful gems set in delicate gold and silver with eye catching geometric shapes. The collection features an array of necklaces, earrings and more to perfectly accessorize for any occasion.
Along with the baubles, Slate.s menu will also be available for apps, dinner or a nosh. From savory duck egg rolls to ‘Ahi Tuna Poke - with Avocado and wonton chips, to Paella, Salmon Baragoule, Eggplant Parmesan to mouth watering Tres Leches cake and more, there’s something for every taste - all perfectly paired with the vast wine list. Danny’s personal limited premium wine selections are also available per special request.
