Chris Rock Visits DC, Promotes Top Five

Chris Rock and a few of his new, closest friends

Think it's easy to be a movie star? Think again. Chris Rock recently went on a two-day whirlwind tour to promote his new film Top Five, stopping in the nation's capital this past Tuesday. The movie itself, is a relatively mixed bag (click here to read our review) but Rock shows why he remains one of the funniest comedians of all-time, during a flashback segment in Houston with Cedric the Entertainer... quite possibly the funniest part of any movie this year.

Day one of Rock's tour got started in Boston, moved to Philly, then Baltimore and DC before wrapping up in Hot 'Lanta. Don't ask how; but he managed to get up the next morning, and make stops in Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit. While in DC, Rock stopped by the Lincoln Memorial before introducing an early evening screening of Top Five at Regal Gallery Place. Now, if we can just keep him here long enough to do a stand-up show next time...
