Mention brunch, and one immediately thinks of weekends. Fair enough, but count me in for Boqueria's week-long "Unlimited Brunch" that begins later this month... December 27th through January 4th, including weekdays (hurray!) Unlimited tapas brunch starts at 11:30 AM on weekdays and an hour earlier (10:30 AM) on Saturday & Sunday. It ain't cheap ($39 per person) but there's a lot more to choose from than just eggs, waffles and tiny glasses of watered-down orange juice. Try Revuelto de Setas de Temporada (scrambled eggs with goat & Idiazabal cheeses, basil and mushrooms) Butifarra amb Mongetes (pork sausage with salsa verde, cilantro, red onions and white beans) steamed mussels and one of my personal favorites - Albóndigas (lamb meatballs in tomato sauce with sheep's milk cheese.) That's in addition to staple items such as Patatas Bravas, Tortilla de Chorizo and Pan con Tomate con Manchego y Jamón.
