Ping Pong Dim Sum Announces New "East West Brunch," Dim Sum Carts and Fall Cocktail Collection

Ping Pong Dim Sum has three exciting announcements to kick off the fall season. "East West Brunch," will offer an innovative menu of classic American brunch dishes prepared with modern Chinese ingredients. In addition, diners can order from steamy dim sum trolley carts during service, and choose from a collection of new, seasonal cocktails and dumplings.

Ping Pong introduces weekend "East West Brunch," on Saturday, October 25. The popular Saturday or Sunday tradition will include unlimited dim sum and brunch cocktails which guests have come to love, but adds re-imagined elements of American brunch, featuring classic dishes fused with authentic Chinese flavors. Diners can enjoy one entree from the new collection of dishes, dubbed "China with a Twist" from an array of options including chicken and green tea waffles served with ginger and lemongrass infused maple syrup, and a five-spice pork belly eggs Benedict with sriracha-spiked hollandaise.

Guests can also look forward to the addition of sleek gold-mirrored dim sum trolleys that will serve traditional dim sum dishes like steamed buns, baked honey roasted chicken puffs, and steamed dumplings throughout the restaurant for the first time. "East West Brunch" will be available weekends from 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM at both DC locations (900 7th Street NW; 1 Dupont Circle NW) for $36 per person.

Ping Pong also adds Chinese flair to American brunch cocktails, creating standouts like the Lucky Bloody Mary, a blend of white peony tea infused vodka and smoked water topped with celery foam. Guests can anticipate a variety of liquid amuse-bouches like mimosas in edible jelly form, and a range of new sparkling cocktails: a classic bellini is reconceived with either Guangzhou bitters and osmanthus tea or a muddled blend of strawberry and hibiscus; a Champagne cocktail is spiked with Oriental bitters and Courvoisier VS.

At lunch or dinner, guests can cozy up to Ping Pong's new fall cocktail collection which features warm flavors and smoky combinations. The shining stars of the collection are the Szechuan fig Manhattan - a stirred cocktail of whiskey, vermouths, Sichuan infused fig liqueur, and fig and mandarin orange bitters; and the Winter Berry Blazer - a warm cocktail of fresh berries, cognac, absinthe, and cassis liqueur flambéed tableside and served with strawberry tea.

Those looking for warmth in the form of hearty dumplings can indulge in golden caviar and golden noodle dumplings made of jumbo shrimp, vermicelli noodles and topped with golden fish roe, or edamame and truffle dumplings made of soy beans, sesame, garlic and truffle oil parceled together in a stunning three tear-dropped wrapper, or the braised pork belly bao sliders - three open faced steamed buns filled with braised five spicy pork belly, Asian slaw and spring onions.
