Day two of the
St. Nicholas Fall Bazaar found a far kinder weather forecast... making way for a fabulous day of dancing, food, kids' activities and shopping. The annual two-day celebration on the grounds of
St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in upper Northwest hosted plenty of happy
campers (lots of tents too, pun intended.) It was also a great chance to take a look inside the glorious cathedral... one of the prettiest I've seen, regardless of domination.
Time (and
long lines in the basement) prevented me from sampling any goodies; but I've already written myself a note, to try Serbian Sausage (Chevabchichi) and Eggplant Caviar
next year. I highly recommend stopping by on the weekend to see just
how beautiful the cathedral's interior is, for yourself.
