What's for Lunch?
Weekends are for having fun; and this weekend looks particularly "party-esque" thanks to the 21st annual Taste of Georgetown. This year's Taste gets a substantial upgrade and a new address... K Street, along the Waterfront. Doors open at noon, and the party keeps going until 5:00 PM.
Tickets are $5 for one tasting and $20 for five tastings (presale only) and can be purchased in advance online at the newly rebranded website, http://www.tasteofgeorgetown.com/. Craft Beer and Wine Pavilion tickets are $10 for three and $4 for one tasting and can also be purchased online in advance. Ticket proceeds benefit the Georgetown Ministry Center’s services supporting the homeless, a cause the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) has helped raise more than $120,000 for since 2004. Taste of Georgetown is presented and sponsored annually by the Georgetown BID.
