Flower Mart Celebrates 75th Anniversary
The
Washington National Cathedral Flower Mart wrapped up its diamond 75th anniversary earlier today with huge crowds and tons of activities, food and performances for everyone to enjoy. I have to ask: Does it
ever rain during Flower Mart? Certainly not
this year, as both days couldn't have been more perfect. As always, there was lots of premium food to nibble on (including delicious apple strudel from
The Swiss Bakery in Springfield, Virginia) not to mention a
smörgåsbord of activities for kids to participate in... Climbing walls, moon bounce, puppet shows and the vintage carousel (always a crowd favorite.) I can't wait to return next year.
