Equinox Celebrates Opening of Maryland Rockfish Season

Equinox to Host Rockfish Roast, April 24th

To celebrate the opening of Maryland Rockfish season, Chef Todd Gray will host a very special dining event this Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 p.m.

The evening will begin with a grill reception on the tented patio where you can mix and mingle while sampling select beers from Goose Island’s ‘Vintage’ collection and snack on Sweet Jesus and James River Oysters plus Artisan Sausages with Bourbon Mustard and Ramp Chutney, prepared tent-side by Chef Gray and his talented team.

Guests will then move inside the restaurant for the second part of the evening: a family-style dining experience complete with expert beer pairings and live music by the Walkaways, a local rock trio who’s known for their classic yet fresh sound. The multi-course dinner will include the following:

First Course: Grilled Log Grown Shiitakes and Charred Red Onion Salad, Gem Lettuce, Baby Romaine and Verjus Vinaigrette

Main Course: Roasted Maryland Wild Stripe Bass, Early Spring Asparagus, Meyer Lemon Chive Butter & Shaved Parmesan Reggiano

Sweet Course: Bruleed Mascarpone Cheesecake, Strawberry-Rhubarb Compote and Shaved White Chocolate
