It took
forever to get there (
thanks Metro) but you couldn't ask for a nicer day to head down to the National Mall for the 13th annual
National Book Festival. After hosting such luminaries as
Don DeLillo,
Brad Meltzer and
Linda Ronstadt yesterday, the
Library of Congress was back at it again with an astrophysicist, the darling of Food Network, a Pulitzer Prize winner and the woman who wrote Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Toss in
free, giant tote bags from C-SPAN, and you had a pretty good alternative to a day's worth of watching the NFL on TV.
