Restaurant Week DC Begins Monday

The dog days of summer have been conspicuously absent in the nation's capital (tomorrow's high is expected to be in the low 70's) but August is August, and that means pre-season football, vacation and empty restaurants. Restaurant Week DC gets underway Monday, providing locals (and tourists alike) the opportunity to sample some of the area's finest eateries at bargain-basement prices.

Beginning Monday and running through Sunday, August 25th, more than 240 local restaurants will offer 3-course lunches and dinners for the low-fixed prices of $20.13 and $35.13 respectively. Here's your chance to enjoy an appetizer, entree and dessert at Café Saint-Ex, Del Frisco's, The Palm and many more.

Click here to see if your favorite restaurant is participating. Some restaurants are even extending restaurant week another week (i.e. Jaleo.) Plan ahead, and make reservations if possible: Seats go fast... even in August.
