Big Turnout for Israel@65

Paula Shoyer makes Baklava

I can deal with a rainout for the Washington Nationals (two in a row, in fact) but it would have been a true crime to wash out today's Israel@65 Food, Wine and Music Festival at NoMa's Union Market. Thankfully, Mother Nature cooperated; and huge crowds turned out to enjoy a day of fun and sun, great music and even greater food. They may have to change the name next year (Israel@66?) but this festival is sure to become an annual fixture in the nation's capital.
