Crystal City Announces an Award Winning Lineup for 2013

Jurassic Park closes this year's Crystal Screen on August 26th

From our friends at Crystal City BID...

The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce the audience-selected movies for their 2013 outdoor film festival Crystal Screen: Blockbusters.

“Next year’s Crystal Screen festival features all time movie favorites,” said Angela Fox, President/CEO of the Crystal City BID. “The season is filled with thrills, drama, humor, and compassion.”

The seventh season begins June 3, 2013 with Steven Spielberg’s hit E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, and closes on August 26, 2013 with Jurassic Park.

Crystal Screen annually attracts thousands of visitors throughout the metropolitan area. The festival is shown in one of Crystal City’s many welcoming green spaces, owned, managed, and donated for the festival by Vornado/Charles E. Smith. Convenient to Metro and Crystal City’s many restaurants, Crystal Screen offers the perfect opportunity for a leisurely and affordable night out with dinner and a movie – whether a take-out picnic on the grass or a traditional sit-down dinner.
