Bryce Harper is set to appear at Saturday's NatsFest |
Big things happen when you earn the best record in baseball. This year's annual NatsFest is moving on up... to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, this Saturday from noon to four. After taking a year off, the Nationals pre-season party is back and bigger than ever; and will feature caricatures, concessions, live batting cages and plenty of photo/Q&A ops with the players.
Season ticket holders can get in an hour early; but there will be plenty of room in the cavernous Convention Center for last minute arrivals (click here to purchase tickets.) Unfortunately, if you haven't already reserved one, autograph vouchers are sold out. Regular admission costs $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under: Season ticket holders pay just $15/$5.
More than 25 Nationals players are expected to attend NatsFest, including Tyler Clippard, Ian Desmond, Ross Detwiler, Danny Espinosa, Gio Gonzalez, Bryce Harper, Drew Storen, Kurt Suzuki, Jayson Werth and Jordan Zimmermann... as well as new additions Dan Haren and Denard Span.
Rumor has it, the Nats will announce a new addition to their popular Presidents Race... We wouldn't want Teddy to get a big head, would we?
