Who Are You? Daltrey, Townsend Invade Verizon

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend (r) of The Who

It's been more than a decade since The Who last took their 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia on the road. The British rockers return to the nation's capital and Verizon Center tonight, the seventh stop on the first leg of a 37-date tour that got underway earlier this month in Sunrise, Florida. The Quadrophenia tour marks the first time The Who has performed in North America in four years.

As always, The Who will be led by founders Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, backed by Zak Starkey on drums, Pino Palladino on bass, Pete's younger brother Simon (guitar) and Chris Stainton, Loren Gold and Frank Simes on keyboards. In addition to the Quadrophenia double-album, The Who will play a selection of Who classics (Pinball Wizard, Who Are You.) Tickets are still available (click here.) The current tour wraps up on February 26th at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Vintage Trouble will open.
