Lies Upon Lies

It doesn’t take long to figure out that @DeathOfRH_UK isn’t going to be your father’s Robin Hood. Credit @RealHughJackman & director @MichaelSarnoski for the grittiest, perhaps truest version to date, minus the merriment (of course.) Jackman lends a wise, Wolverine-esque edge to the most famous legend of the 13th century; and even though the pace is (comfortably) slow, there’s enough (graphic) violence to keep action fans… happy.
Grade: B (Pleasant surprise.)
